Rienzi's Raiders
Rienzi's Raiders is a dismounted cavalry brigade consisting of the 1st WV Cavalry and the 9th NY Cavalry. The Brigade has members across 8 states (NY, NJ, PA, WV, MD, VA, DE, and VT). The unit took its name from General Phillip Sheridan's fearless horse Rienzi who led both the 1st WV and 9th NY into battle during the war.
